If you could define your beliefs in the simplest terms possible, how would you?

Question

I can sum up some of my beliefs in to a single joke:

An aetheist is walking in the woods one day and a Bigfoot jumps out growling menacingly. All of sudden the aetheist cries out "Please lord help me!"
And then a booming voice from the sky says "I thought you didn't believe in me."
The aetheist said "until a few minutes ago I didn't believe in bigfoot either."
Now heres the real question am I kidding just trying to get some colorful answers or not? I reply later with the answer.

My belief system simply put{not simple for me}
In God or whatever interpretation that is given to that supremacy. Not in a structure, building or church to have that belief.
Open minded, however there are things that will go against my grain.
Enjoy the dance of life, God willing and the Creek don't rise, never to old to learn new steps.[ Living in New Orleans that expression could change in the blink of an eye, or the flash of a flood]
Your old joke, possibly a little bit of me a little bit of you, and many more.
Opinionated opinion : Facts, Stats, information, logic , reason, summed up , education and knowledge... Why can't they be given with flair, those things will still be learned and applied.

Beliefs can only be defined as being of an order of thought that is lacking in true substance as any belief operates on the premise that the person who believes something actually knows something. However, belief is the mental acceptance of something that has not been proved, whilst knowledge, or knowing something for a fact is based on fact and is therefore the polar opposite of belief. The reason why people get confused is that they are taught by belief systems to accept belief as fact, while a belief can by definition can never be a fact. You can either know something or believe something; not both simultaneously.

My beliefs are: take care of the people that care about you, always search for the truth, strive for self improvement as long as you live, and make sure you leave the world (or at least your block) better than the way you found it.

No you are not kidding.....that is an old joke that has been around forever...which also goes along with the belief that you can deny God all your life and still call him with your final breath and he will answer.

my beliefs somed up, I believe in knowledge, knowledge that all thing are possible, but its within me to decide on whats possible, and in the search of those possiblities, I accept all things and acknowledge my existences as a family member amongst my family, no one tells me lies, but they only tell me there truths. I am knowledge searching for knowledge
