Communication and the understanding that sometimes we have to agree to disagree. It is not easy, yet it can be done. Men and women think and feel on different planes... that is just how it is... sometimes we understand eachother. Alot of times we don't. Try to get your point across, if it does not work.... then if it is something that you can agree to disagree on then try that... if all else fails.... write a journal in where you can vent to your self.

It's called - when opposites attract. With men having all that testosterone - they need someone of the feminine persuasion to help keep their feathers "less ruffled". If the world were all men, they probably would all kill each other. Women provide love and emotional stability.

Sometimes that happens when people meet at bars. They fall into that "Moment" when your fantasy is to meet Your Prince or Princess and it all seems right and wonderful as you dance on the dance floor after having a few drinks.
Then reality sets in, you wake up the next morning and wonder why you don't really know the person next to you or even if your married to them as well.

Easily. You understand that you need to take care of yourself and a relationship is there to enhance and support, not make up for what you lack.
Only when we understand that we have to take care of ourselves will we understand that it's not someone else's job to do it for us.
that is a VERY tough thing to understand though even though it sounds simple.
It's the fundamentals of psychology and therapy is teaching people how to take care of themselves mentally, emotionally and spiritually. No one else can do that for us once we are adults.
The problem lies in that many parents don't fully understand how to do this for a child (it's virtually impossible) since there is no magic formula. So once we become adults, we have to seek what it is that we need and take care of it. Not expect a partner to.

You can't it never works out trust me married for 10 years and we never have agreed on anything even raising our kids and it has been a battle I am now getting a divorce and we still do not agree. so I would have to say the best thing is to just be friends and don't put yourself in a conversation that will lead to an argument.good luck

Like they say...opposites attract! You don't have to understand someone completely to care about them. I have 3 sons. Two are teenagers and I can't begin to figure them out half the time, but I still love them!!!!!

That is the great mystery of life. Why do 2 opposites keep trying to figure the other out, when they know they can not.

It takes time and eventually I think they will understand each other. But if it seems as though they will never understand each other, then maybe they are both insecure and both afraid they won't find someone else.

They can't. It just won't work unless you can understand one another. Two people in a relationship must be compatible or you can forget about it!
