Well I think culturally there are differences in driving ability only in those who come from countries that have extremely different driving styles, roads and lessons. We have to remember as Americans that we are a land of immigrants and our differences are what make us great. So, I would not say Asian women cant drive-no. I would say there may be difficulties for those cultures who come from crowded streets and low driving rates. The parents of many children were not driving in America until much later in life, therefore when teaching their children- it is not the same as someone who has driven here their whole life. If you ever go to another country and drive you will see that it is difficult and scary.

I live in Flushing, NY which is like living in China (no joke, there are no awnings in english where I live. I have to drive wayy out of my way to go to a store where they speak english) and it is VERY true.
A boy from my high school got hit by an asian driver and lost both of his legs. She was running from the scene of an accident she caused a few blocks away. She ran a red light and hit a 17 year old boy.
I got into an accident with an asian who ran a red light, and then decided to call one of her friends who lived nearby and have her lie to the police and say she was a passenger, and that I ran a red light. I had a witness from a store where it happened and two other people in my car that said she was lying.
You should see it here, people drive and pay no attention to traffic laws. Because they are all asian. It's sick.

Women in general can't drive, but only compared to the average man. Some men can't drive either. Driving is a privilege not a right

Well, my inlaws are Korean and both my mother in law and sister in law have been in more car accidents than I can count, BUT I have known many Asian women who drive just fine. Stereotype, all the way.

Of course it's not true. Anybody who can drive can drive. You've seen The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift this weekend, haven't you? Relax, I haven't heard any of this yokel legend. I can't drive, not on you're life. And I'm classic Caucasian. It's more of skill than race, gender, age, whatever. Relax.

You know what, I'm not one to stereotype, but I've been in a car with an Asian driving and she was totally careless. She wouldn't utilize her mirrors when switching lanes. I was soo scared for my life. I lost count after 4 cars honked at us.

I think, it exists. Many stereotypes exist about Asian people, especially about bMuslims now. But reality is very different. They not only drive, they participate in international race among men teams...

there is a stereotype about it? first time i ever heard about it. there is a stereotype that women are worse drivers in general, but that is so not true. There are numerous research papers that support the fact that women are better drivers because they are more careful.
