send him a "birth"day card or make a card for him - send him a gift from his "new baby" - ask for a copy of the sonogram or tape it, the new 3D videos are great - you would have to wait to tell him that way, but you could send that to him Congrats and good luck!

OMG!!! My husband just got back from Iraq. He missed the birth of our first baby while he was there. When he got home I got pregnant again...go figure. I am now 3 months pregnant. Go to build a bear build a baby stuffed animal and you can put a push thing in them with your own voice. In the one I sent my husband said "I love you" but in the one you do it could say " I love you Daddy" or "We're going to have a baby". Just an idea. CONGRATULATIONS!!

call his command and arrange a video conference if they wont do it i know if you call the local news they will help you and but don't tell him make it a surprise when the conference starts show a ultra sound picture to him so something to keep him guessing as to what he's doing there and then pop out and tell him special things like that make things better and he'll be even more anxious to get home to his babies

It's alright, me and my husband are pregnant with our first child. My hubby happens to be in Afghanistan right now. Even though he knew that I was pregnant before he left I just told him that I was pregnant. But since your hubby is already there, send him the pregnancy test. Good luck. My baby is due July 5th. :) If you want to chat just email me.

If he's reachable by emails or snail mails, you could send him a boquet of flowers with words like "to the soon-to-be dad" or something like that.Or you could send a figurine which says something smiliar or just a ecard which kinda says he has a surprise awaiting him in 9 months time...There are sooo many options...do whatever fits your budget & feelings.Enjoy!!!

send him a baby name book by mail with a hidden note inside.. when he opens it in confusion, your letter will fall out and there you could write that you two are expecting a little one and just explain to him how excited you are and how much you love him.. just tell him everything you feel and hopefully hell write back telling you how happy that makes him

Record a ultra sonogram of your baby and e-mail it to him, tell him to guess what he is watching, and then tell him the soon-to-be-names you would like to give the kid!
