Why are all you Libs assuming that I have not served in the Military? The fact is I did that’s why I get sick of people in congress calling our fighting men horrible names and accusing them of crimes with no assumption of innocence. So put that in your tambourine and wack it.

I suppose that you are unable to read because as I have stated above, I did serve our country in the U.S. Air Force. I said nothing aobut the military. Being a typical Lib you need to have things explained to you several times. I was refering to the people who are calling Bush a liar and thoes in congress who are calling our military (people like John Kerry) terrorists. Libs need to grow a brain as well as a back bone.

The military is indicative of American. I would assume there were as many liberals "defending America" as there are conservatives.
There are very few in the government, and especially our current administration, who have served or have children serving. Strangely enough, most of the former military are on the liberal side - 24% (13 of 55) of Republican Senators have served, compared with 27% (12 of 44) of Democrats (including a Medal of Honor winner) and 100% of Independents.

I KNOW you didn't serve in the military because you wouldn't denigrate the courage of your brothers in arms who are facing death and who also happen to be liberal. And what about chicken-#@*% conservatives?? WHY don't you mention THEM??

"Cheney's Five Draft Deferments During the Vietnam Era Emerge as a Campaign Issue" -- discussing the lengths VP Dick Cheney went to in order to avoid serving during the Viet Nam war.
It is apparent from the piece that Richard Cheney did everything humanly possible -- short of fleeing to Canada -- to avoid military conscription: He applied for and recieved 5 student deferments, a number described as "incredible" by professor David Curry of the University of Missouri in St. Louis.
You're so righteous, go back in the military!

It would take just as many liberals as it would conservatives. Believe it or not there are many liberals serving in the military. Your believing in all the dribble from the conservatives that the liberals don't want to defend this country is just that dribble. Let me also remind you that all the screaming from the conservatives is coming from an administration that is led by people who REFUSED to defend this country when they had their chance to. Remember, Bush protected Texas, Rumsfield, Ashcroft and Cheney all had other things to do. So where do they get off saying liberals don't want to defend the country?

Well, at least 2.
My liberal brother in the Air Force at Ft Meade Maryland and my liberal brother in the Army at Fort Rucker Alabama.
BOTH of them are decorated, both have been in combat, and both of them plan on staying until retirement.
Somehow, I get the feeling a lot of our troops AND their families are liberal.
OR, do you REALLY think only conservatives are in uniform???????
