I want to write a book called "Tales, Trials, and Secrets of My Large Family." about a girl traveling to NYC to see her large family. Her aunt is married, has a new baby, but the girl discovers the aunt cheating for the girl's great-aunt's gardener. Then ANOTHER aunt is about to get married and the character is asked to be in the wedding. But a boy she met on the plane to NY is also there, and she has issues with him and the wedding song. Her younger cousins are hanging off her as she tries to wander the city alone for ONCE and get away, and one is challenged and she is put in charge of looking after him. Then her great grandma turns 91 and a huge party is thrown. She discovers something frightful about her great-grandma's past (the fact that when her great-grandpa died her great-grandma was involved in a scandel with his fortune.) After making amends with her great-grandma for her mistakes, the girl's 3 cousin has a huge anger fit and is put in counseling. Then the boy on the plane...

THEN the boy on the plane likes her, but she doesn't know if they are related so she starts a family tree. He isn't! Then her great-grandma becomes fatally ill, and she must choose to go home with her dad andshy brother to see a celebrity or stay. She chooses to stay, and realizes she loves her family as it is. Like it?

I like it, I would read it. I like stories about big families. Go ahead, write it and when you revise it you fix whatever you think doesn't work. 'Luck

OK, serious answer, and I am NOT trying to be rude or mean (and I AM gong to tell you the positives on this as well). As you asked, my answer is no, I wouldn't buy this book, nor would I check it out from the Library.
My reasons are:
A story like this will have a VERY limited audience, primarily younger/teen-age girls. As adults buy over 90% of the books in the USA, they are going to purchase things of interest to them and that come from an older perspective, and not things which are mainly of interest to a younger generation;
Your style of writing never grabbed me when it should have (from the start). Even though this is only an outline for your story, it did not hold my attention;
You didn't tell me how one event flows into or relates to the next; it has to have a progression from one point to the next. If the narrator (you) doesn't show me that progression (show me, and not just tell me), then the reader can only guess, whereas I would probably guess wrong.
POSITIVES
You have a good basis, and just need to find both a "hook" to grab the reader from the start, and a "line" (story) that will want the reader (many readers) to keep biting.
From what I read of your writing (grammatical skills), it's good for your age. Lastly...
Do NOT let go of your dream to write, if that's what you want to do!
If I might suggest, take some college/university level lit classes, and read a LOT of short stories. Once you see why I said I wouldn't want to read this story, compare your story against some short stories and see the differences. If you are honest with yourself, you will see why their's are working.
Again, I'm not trying to be mean, just give yourself some more time and life experiences before picking up your pen once more.
Good Luck!

Other then soap opera drama, as a reader why would I care. I can watch Jerry Springer. Check out Gosford Park-Best Seller and well received movie. It has just as many characters, all kinds of plot twists but the reader is ENGAGED IN THE CHARACTERS and that is what makes the difference.
I can see scandel everyday by reading the financial section of the newspaper.

You have way too much going on in this plot. I doubt if anyone but you would be able to follow it.
