Have any theories? It all began on October 13, 1307. Has to do with the Kinghts of Templar who were tortured & killed. Another theory is bibical: the ejection of Adam & Eve from the Garden of Eden, the start of the Great Flood, & the crucifixionof Jesus. Each happened on a Friday, supposedly the 12th. Perhaps Friday 13th had urban legends connected to it. Anyone know of any?

It is base on the fact that the Knights Templar was taken on Friday the 13th.

in the Norse/Viking pantheon Friday the 13th was sacred to the goddess Freyja as the day she finally obtained her magical necklace the Bringasmen from the dwarves that made it...by sleeping with the four of them. Odin got brassed off and punished her for her vanity.
Don't know whether I believe it or not, but that's what I was always told. It also probably comes from the fact that Friday is named after her and 13 was her sacred number.

The only one I know of is the masacre of the Templars by the Church that put them in power to begin with. There's probably tons of urban legends associated with it.
