Actually, no. As the wife of a military man and someone who works with the military, most of the couples stay together, even through retirement and on. There are a few bad apples who do marry for money and citizenship (my mother in law would be an example, three marriages later) but overall no. But you do see an obviously different relationship with some of them, where it may have been a "convenience" on both parts.

Many of them do, but its harder than that. I have a cousin that married a woman who wanted citizenship. He married and before even their wedding night she ran to relatives that were already in US and said that he abused her. They're still in a lawsuit right now. You see if she just leave the relationship without spending a certain time with him then they just deport her. She was smart and didn't even wait to get the citizenship before leaving the relationship. With the case going, she could easily drag on the case for the required years of living in America with her relatives to gain citizenship and no one can deport her because of the lawsuit. Well if your asking whether they leave the relationship once they get citizenship, I would say very likely. Sometimes even before.

Not usually but a large minority do. What does she look like? What her values? Is she religious? Does she talk an inordinate amount of time about money and material things and social status? Does she love you? Have you met her family? The honest answers to these questions will yield you the best conclusion.

I knew a woman from Eastern Europe. After she got married, she left New York and moved to Colorado to "go to school." Six months later she divorced the poor schmuck.
