There were lots of clues in the last part of the 6th book; such as Harry only sees green light, and Dumbledore's body shoots away. Also, Dumbledore's body justs sponteanously combusts into flames instead of being buried. There are other clues but i have forgoten them at the moment. I mean what better way is there for you to fight your enemy than to make him think ylour dead?

I think that is a very good argument, but I think you should take a look at this article on mugglenet. It is in the featured editorials archive. It's called the Rising Importance of the Phoenix. I used to believe that Dumbledore was not dead. But is seems right to just accept the fact and move on.

Having just watched "Dragonslayer" I can say your clues are intriguing. There's a lot of similar elements in the Dragonslayer storyline.

I truly believe he isn't dead even if they think I am suspicious, but still it was a sad moment at his funeral.
