Not sure if I can help you except I am a computer technician. My skill is building computer. This one company that I joined recently allow me to open a cell phone business. This might provide income sources that can get you to buy equipment for your business card prints shop later. Would you like to take a look?

I agree w. insuranceguytx... there are many many many better businesses out there.
As a generaly rule, any business that based on "equipment" is going to be advantaged toward larger companies who can buy in volume and get economies of scale.
Successful solo home businesses tend to be based on brainpower... use your knowledge, skills, personality to succeed.

Bad idea - there is no profit in that business. Most people can print quality cards on their home computers.
Several sources online offer free business cards.
