A diesel in a Regal? I've never seen one, but the last year I know of 350 diesels being put into GM passenger cars was 1983. They were problematic, so they didn't produce them for very long.

I believe it was 78 or 76 with the Olds 350 Diesel. Very sought after block

1985 was the last year for diesel-powered cars sold by GM in North America. Reliability issues have been the main culprit of their demise.
