HAHAH same avatar.ok sorry.
MY favorite book?
well i have to say the harry potter series, and if i had to say one book it would be n-e of the 6 for this reason;
The way she(the author) describes everything so well, and putting ur mind to ponder whats going 2 happen next. The way she ages the character(specifically harry and ron and hermoine), first as young innocent children not knowing a clue whats this world they only imagained would be like, Then becoming mature, tall grown men ,young of course but men indeed, pondering more and more, as they age, the story gets more complicated and interesting u simply must finsih it, there are no downfalls in the book they keep u reading even after finishing a chapter U must continue knowing theres always something sad,happy,bad,scary,or exiting happeneing next.The story is such a pleasure to read, one thing after the next. The best part is YOU feel like ur experiencing all these things u feel like your in the story.

Yes, the bible is something every person should read, if not for great morals, the truth of the world, science, and psychology, then at least out of interest.
I second "Eldest", the second installment in the trilogy "Inheritence" by Christopher Paolini. He's a (very) young and brilliantly talented author. You should probably read "Eragon" before, though.
Although some say you lose something in translation, the translated (from German) "The Theif Lord" and "Inkheart" by Cornelia Funke were amazing!

My favorite book is Dandelion Wine but Ray Bradbury. My first immpression of the book was that the whole town must be insane but when I really thought it over I realized that it's kinda how life is - insane. It has it's funny moments and it's sad moments and some just strange moments. That's just how life is. Coming in at second is Fehrenheit 451. That really moved made me think.

wow, I never can just choose one, there's the chrysalids by John Wyndham, fantastic book, it spoke to me, it was a runnaway story that succeeded. I also loved Eragon and Eldest, The bible, utterly fasinating, I read it from cover to cover and I'm reading it again! Recently I have been reading Christine Feehan books. Then there's Methusulah's Children by Robert Heinlien, Escape to Last Man peak- Jean Da Costa, anything by Anthony Winkler. There is just tooo much!!

That's a tough one. While i'm partial to the Harry Potter series and have all of them to this point, my favorite book is the collected works of William Shakespear

By a long shot I would have to say The Brothers Karamazov by F. Doestoyevsky. As an English major, the command that he shows over the novellic form is amazing as are his forays into the topics of free will, murder, and religion: Perfect!

By far... The Giving Tree~

Although it be a short book for children, I think it shows all the virtues that I want to teach my child.... It is a book many adults should read and learn from!
