probably no longer. the front runner for those video games are any african u . s . or a north american u . s . (optimistically Canada). The IOC has obviously reported that it would like a summer season olympcs in an african u . s ., Africa being the in uncomplicated phrases continent the position the olympics have by no skill been. After the fulfillment of the 2010 FIFA international cup, many african international locations are attempting to practice for his or her bids. Morocco is vying for that bid and is a intense contender. If an african u . s . host 2020, north u.s. or europe ( germany or Canada are the significant contenders) will maximum in all probability be next. Than an asian u . s . or in the southern hemisphere after that. The IOC likes to bypass to diverse continents. provided that 2014 is in Russia and 2018 will maximum in all probability be in South Korea, China would ought to attend till a minimum of 2030. :)

I seriously doubt it, Athens was seriously economically stressed from hosting the 2004 Olympics, and it's not the custom to host the olympics at the same city twice in such a short amount of time.

absolutely not - they were not prepared for the last one which they only got because they didn't get the 96 games which were the 100th anniversaries. Security and transportation sucked.

The way that countries and cities are developing I think will broaden the market for hte games nad you'll see lots more cities hosting in the future rather than going to the same 'ol same ol' - minus a traditional few.
