I've looked online, but it wasn't any help, any help here will be greatly appreciated :) (geez i don't even know what category this question goes under since it's so random, lolz, sorry bout that)

Since you would be required to paste/frank U S stamps only, you need to contact your local post office only. Depending upon the weight, category of mail etc they will tell/provide you with the right amount of stamps.

Hi,

Placing this question in some section in the US might have given you some quick answers.

Anyway, the general postage rates from US to India are as follows:

Postcards and Postal Cards (250) $0.75
Aerogrammes (250) $0.75 Enclosures NOT permitted
For a detailed postage based on the weight check

Now - Isn't this the Best Answer ? ;-)

You should take it to your local post office... they will know what needs to go on your letter and can put it there for you. Most post offices will tell you what the cost is to you before they put it on there.
