No way, 1. that wasn't a penalty
2. that wasn't italy
3. the extra time was 3 minutes and the penalty was assigned in 95'

Good match. Italy was lucky. Their luck will run out. That penalty was bad. If by some miracle the Italians make it into the Semis, Germany will take them out (assuming Germany will also take out Argentina). Its going to be a Germany vs Brazil final boys and girls.

OK, my fingers are getting a little tired of typing this but ... once again ... Australia was one man up most of the game and they still couldn't score ... so stop crying about a controversial call and just accept that Italy was able to get the job done.

It shouldn't have been a PK. The ref should have let that go and go to OT.
