No, the set of Real Numbers does not contain an element "infinite." The set of Real Numbers is, however, infinite, in that no person or machine could list every member of the set.

Of course, no. Infinite came when there is no exactly the real number for the calculation.

Are there infinite real numbers? Yes. Is infinity a real number? No. But positive and negative infinity are the endpoints of the extended real number line. Crazy to converge upon infinity, and never get there.

Infinite is not a number. It is an undefinable value with our measure or form. It is strictly a concept as is zero. There is a sign you use for zero and it's 0. The symbol used for infinity is like a figure eight lying on its side.

Good question!

Is infinite any number at all?

Since it is the designation for something that does not end...It is unknown to us as what it is, and so we cannot say.

I don't think it's a number, more the idea of something that goes on forever. It would be indefinable as a number because it does not have a value. It simply represents the concept of something continuous that can never be reached.

No, it's all the numbers that exist, which has no limit to how many exist. Infinite is all that was, is, or ever will be.
