I hope so. There are decent moderate people on both sides of the aisle. We've had to deal with the extremes (left and right) for too long. It'd be nice to have someone in the middle. Very few Americans are on the fringes like most of our choices have been lately.

All a moderate is, is a person that doesn't know what he (or she) wants. If you do a poll over two years before an election you get indecision, which translates into moderate.

I see McCain and Hilliary being throw up a lot in answer to this question. First of all the ONLY way McCain has a chance in hell of being nominated for President is if he goes as a Democrat. Secondly how in the world, can Hilliary be described as a moderate? Yes, she is pretending to be moderate now (like her husband did) because they know the country will not vote for a liberal. The country knows her game, it won't fly.

The last thing we need is a wishy washy moderate. We really need a solid conservative leader, which I had hoped Bush would be, but he has not been.
