i'd have to say the AFC North with a great Steelers team, a great Bengals team, and the Ravens and Browns have improved greatly this off-season.
the NFC East (Giants, 'Skins, Cowboys, Eagles) & NFC South (Panthers, Bucs, Falcons, Siants) will be tough also.

I agree with the AFC North being the toughest. As a Bengals fan, it won't be easy to repeat this year but I think it can and will be done. Who Dey!

I think the AFC clearly has the best teams. Denver, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, New England are all solid teams overall. Just see how it was last year, Pittsburgh was the 6th seed in the AFC, and they beat the #1 seed Seattle in the NFC. It could easily happen that way again.

I just don't see any team in the NFC as Denver, Kansas City, Indianapolis or Cincinnati. I think Pittsburgh will have a rough season this year, and New England is in decline, although I think they'll still win their division.

I'd rank them in order (in terms of level of competition, top to bottom):
NFC East (four pretty even teams)
NFC South (three even teams and the Saints)
AFC West (three even teams and the Raiders)
AFC East (four somewhat even teams, as the Pats are coming back to the rest)
AFC North (two good teams, and two that suck)
NFC North (four pretty weak teams)
NFC West (Seattle and the flunkies)
AFC South (Indy and the flunkies [sorry, I'm not impressed with Jacksonville])

NFC East is the toughest in football
it used to be the AFC west but the raiders stink
the NFC East will be a good old fashioned dog-fight!

AFC & NFC, spell it right

NFC North will be weak, Browns & Ravens are rebuilding, Steelers are questionable now because of Toothlessburger & Cincinnati still has Palmer trying to get back but more than lilkely will not be ready to play start week 1

NFC south will be the toughest division in the NFL. I believe a 10 win record might not win that division this year. Because of that alone I would say it would be the NFC
