I found this info on the Internet. Very interesting... I didn't know anything about snakes until I read your question... Thanks :)
In the United States the coral snake has a very toxic venom but has killed few people because it is small, secretive and gentle. The most dangerous are the rattlesnakes like the Eastern and Western Diamondbacks. These rattlesnakes are large, have large venom glands, are relatively common, and are more likely to hold their ground and bite.

In Africa common Egyptian Cobras, Saw-scaled Vipers, and Puff Adders would be the most dangerous.

In Asia the common Cobra and the Russell's Viper are the snakes that kill the most people.

Although the Asian Cobra and Russell's Viper probably kill most of the people who die of snake bite annually in the world neither of them are among the most Deadly Snakes.

The Fierce Snake is by far the most venomous land snake on Earth. With an LD50 of 0.01 mg/kg, it is about 50 times as venomous as a Cobra and 950 times as venomous as a Diamond Rattlesnake. The venom yield of a single bite is high enough to kill about 250,000 mice, or 100 men.

The Coastal Taipan is the third most venomous snake on Earth and the biggest venomous snake of Australia.

The Coastal Taipan is regarded as the most dangerous snake in the world. It is not the most venomous, doesn't have the biggest fangs, its bites do not yield the most venom, it isn't the fastest, and isn't the most aggressive, but it does score relatively high in all these areas. These facts combined make it the most dangerous snake on Earth.

Well, the black mamba is considered to be one of the most dangerous snakes in the world. I believe it is considered the fastest land snake as they can travel at up to 10-12 mph. They are an aggressive species, and after they bite their prey and inject it with their venom, they just leave it to die. Just two drops of venom are enough to kill a human, and without treatment people die almost 100% of the time.

The land snake with the most lethal poison in the world is the inland taipan. The good news is, they only live in the arid deserts of central eastern Australia. So if you live in the US, you don't have to worry. The venom from just one bite can kill several humans, and their bite causes internal hemorrhaging.

The olive sea snake is the snake with the most potent venom.

The most dangerous, in terms of the chances of it being able to kill you if encountered, would have to be a large anaconda. These guys are found around water, where they attempt to squeeze you to death as well as drown you. They are hard to kill, and there are many time when the large ones, 8 m or more, have survived gunfire. There are even larger ones, weighing more than 750 kg, with a width of .6 m. These thing eat horse-sized creatures for breakfast. They are not really considered dangerous by the populace because they are not encountered frequently, but you are definitely screwed if you are attacked by one.
