Reality is the objective, testable world external to each of us. Our experience of that reality is subjective, dependant on our own histories and colored by opinion and emotion. The definition of truth is hard to pin down - what do *you* mean when you use the word? Is an emotional truth internal to yourself any less valid than a hard and proven emprical fact? These are the questions which philosophers have been debating since time out of mind, and will continue to do so. There are no easy answers, but you may want to start by looking into ontology (the study of the nature of being and reality itself) and epistemology (the study of knowledge and the foundations of thought).

The meaning of life is that there is no high, noble meaning, and the meaning of reality is that you create your own. There are almost 7 billion people on this planet, and almost 7 billion subjective realities. You create your own meaning, and if something is real to you, then it's real. Verification is nice, but not essential. Depending on who you ask.

The meaning of life is to find happiness...(Dali Lama). But the reality is, noone will ever be truly happy. So be happy about how your life is NOW, at this moment. If you cant be with the ones you love, then love the ones your with....

Or otherwise said......there is no one universal truth and no one concise meaning of life but rather a myriad of truths and meanings.
