Who likes Sue Grafton's novels?

I am reading R is for Richocet, and it is really good, but do all the books have the same characters, the female detective and Henry and William, etc?

Yeah! Cause she continues to live in the same house space; however she travels around to do her detecting and these characters give her a life outside of her job. They also take a back seat in other stories. Henry has a family that adds color and humor. So she has the dynamics of a family with out the trauma. She is alone without being lonely or appearing to be inhuman or cold because of her job. Henry cares about her without appearing to be a nosy neighbor because he has his own life and his age + girlfriend allow Kinsey to have a love life/sex without being needy or dependent or uncharacteristically romantic. They give her heart.

My wife reads Sue Grafton's novels assiduously. The main characters stay the same throughout the series. Enjoy your reading!

Pretty much all the books have Kinsey and her friends. They are all fairly good reads. I can recommend some other authors if you would like or you can check out my group I created today. It is suspence readers forum @ yahoogroups.com.

Say Yo! It' a series, Darlin'. You might like J.A.Jance and Dana Stabenow, also Lita Scottoline, Nevada Barr and the list is long.

I've read one of them. I read S. They are called Kinsey Millhone Mysteries, so I know they all have her. I'm not sure about the other characters though.

I do. I've read them all since A for Alibi and yes, they all have the same characters.
