alright, before you say d-wade has the advantage because he plays on a better team, that really doesn't matter with kobe. he takes all the shots anyways. he would still have shaq if it wasn't for his ego. lamar odom has LOADS of talent but it doesn't matter with kobe cuz lamar don't get the ball. smush has one job: get kobe the ball.

you could say the same thing about steve nash that he had no team when he got there. when nash got there they had shawn marion. thats it. he wasn't even an all-star. then they drafted amare, he was hurt this year and they still did better than the lakers.

the reason the suns are so good is that STEVE NASH makes all his teammates better. who the hell are leandro barbosa and raja bell. what about boris diaw? they have become STARS under steve nash. thats just like what jordan did with his teammates.

THATS THE REASON KOBE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO TOUCH AIR JORDAN. He doesn't have the balls and grit of Jordan, doesn't work as hard, isn't as talented, and HE JUST ISN'T SMART ENOUGH.

it makes me sick to see you and all of these people jumping on the wade bandwaggon. Kobe isn't selfish, his team sucked the first 70 games of the season and then towards the end when they stepped up he gave it up and his assists went up. He and LeBron are the two best players in the NBA right now, hands down.

And how is Wade Mr. Team? He takes all the shots, how is he different than Kobe? Kobe won 3 w/ shaq, Wade will win only 1. Wait til next year when the Cavs win it then all of a sudden everyone will love LeBron.

3 things should be noted to the hater that asked this question and those that oppse Kobe.

1)The greatest player in the league hands down is Kobe Bryant. Im a huge D Wade fan being from Chicago and all. However as impressive as Dwayne was/is if you ask anyone who would they give the ball to with the game on the line, most would choose Kobe without hesitation.

2) Kobe plays with a wack *** team. Other than Lamar, Smush and Devan the lakers suck. The Heat have several scoring options so it is easier for Dwayne to rely on other guys. If the more mature Kobe Bryant of today were on the Heat instead of Dwayne, the Heat would not loose one game. If Dwayne took Kobe's spot on the Lakers they wouldn't even get to the playoffs. Give Kobe credit. No one expected the Lakers to make it to the playoffs let alone make it to the 7th seed and take a 3-1 lead over the 2nd seeded Suns. On that team, Kobe has to gun.

The Kobe Bryant of today is far more mature than the Kobe that played with Shaq. We have to remember that Shaq is about years older than Kobe. During those years both Kobe and Shaq were ego trippin and trying to prove to the world that they were great on their own. Kobe was still only 23/24 when all that happened. It's hard to have to battle a personality like Shaq's (as much as I love the diesel) in the public and grow up from being 18 to being 24 with the world in your face. Some mature faster than others but everyone has to develop in their own time.

Kobe is the only one person in the world who's not afraid to take on Shaq and he would man handle "The Now Lil Brother" Wade. D Wade makes hes teamates better. D wade pretty much had the same team, kobe has nowe and took them to da semi finals. Kobe coudlnt do it withought phil jackson. Plus Wades team had 2 less years of expeireince that they do now and they are still considered a pretty young team. Results speak for themselves.

Kobe hater! Let me explain something to all you jumping on the "D Wade" ban wagon. He's a great player, but he also has a good team. He has legends and former all stars on his team. Although they might not be as good as they used to be, but they still contribute in one way or another.
