Some movies aren't big hits in the box office (financially) but later become cult classics. Their fan base increases through word of mouth by the time it's on DVD.

It would be a cult classic then and there would be some shirts but not many and less popular. Its truly a bad movie, super troopers never recieved this sort of attention and that was a much better movie.

I think that even if the movie hadn't become as popular as it has, SOMEONE will still have liked it enough to do the shirts. Plus, even when it comes to really bad movies that were universally hated, people just can't resist mimicking things from the movie- anything that is sell-able is, in fact, sell-able.

yeah the movie was only okay and i think that the vote for pedro shirts are way overrated

If it wasent a big hit... Probably not. but who knows they probably would have made them anyways seeing how thats a main thing in ND. But how could that movie not be a hit, It was awesome!!

probably not. the first time i saw the movie i didn't quite get it. now i think it's hilarious. it's an aquired taste.
