Rap is a good genre of music. It started in the 80's and I love rap from the 80's. Today most rap is about sex, violence, and drugs. NOT ALL OF TODAY"S RAP IS LIKE THAT. I am sick of people who generalize that ALL rap is crap. That is not true. I like rap as long as it does not have too much senseless cussing and degradation of women. Some rap songs are practically audio pornography. Laffy Taffy, Get Low, Guerrillas in the Mist, these are some songs that are just plain crap. Soul Survivor, Gangsta's Paradise, Push it, The message, white lines, Gold Digger, these are some good rap songs. I love all genre's of music but that does not mean I like all the songs in that genre. The only genre I do not like is Country, I dunno why I don't like it, it just annoys me.

I honestly don't. Once in a while, there will be an okay song, but I don't like rap in general. I'm a heavy metal rocker.

No. It is generally garbage promoting the abuse of women, drug use, and violence. Why would anyone think that this is a good thing?
