Intro to Hips dont LIe?

ok a couple of years ago (1998-2001) a hiphop song came out that used the same intro of hips dont lie with the horns playing the same tune.. just wondering if you guys know who they were... the song had something to do with New York

That would be Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz. the song was called "uptown " or something like that. I believe Wyclef produced that one too.
The lyrics were like: if it wasn't for the bronx then this rap S--t would even be going on so tell me where you from, uptown baby uptown baby we gets down baby we gets down baby.
