I don't like Billy Joel too much. Most of his songs are imitations of other people's styles. He has a few good tunes -- New York State of Mind, Billy the Kid, Honesty.

Billie Joe, or Billie Joel?
I know and love the former, but I have no clue who the latter is.

I love Billy joel's music! I went to his Broadway ''Movin' Out'' few months back with my hubby. I loved all his songs because it very inspiring and good beat! makes me wanna dance. My 2 best favourite songs are ; ''Don't ask me why'' and It's still rock and roll to me''.

Yes, because it reminds me of history!
i love history!
We listened to "We didn't start the fire" and "leningrad" in World history and we learned a lot and had a good time.
Good way to learn history and he has a good voice.
And I love "uptown Girl" for some weird reason.

Intelligent lyrics, written from a "regular guy" point of view.
witty and moving...
like the older stuff best, "NY state of mind" better that more commercial stuff (Uptown Girl)
