Depends where you live!

In places like California where it cost so much to live, most students graduate college and move back home. IF you have never lived away from home, 27 is too old. However, if you have moved home to get a financial edge, not as bad.

In most cases, it's too old to be living at home. I'd have to say there are exceptions to every rule, though. Getting out of college (or military) and moving back to home state to start your new life. Frequently there's not enough $$$ saved to just go get a place... But there should be a limit on the time a parent gives their kid to get on their feet and find a place. Four to six months should be plenty of time to save up for the deposit and stuff. If it's not a situation of getting your life back together after a big change? TOOOO old. Time to move out and be a grown up. Good luck.

It really depends on the circumstances...There's no rule book out there that tells how old you have to be before you move out on your own. Just as long as you're not there just mooching off your parents...For instace, I'm 24, and I'm still living at home. But I wake up every morning to be at work for 7:30, and I'm also in school full time. I work for the Govt, therefore I make good money, but I'm living at home b/c I'm just more comfortable there...I won't lie, I am a mamas and a daddy's girl and I just like being around my parents. I date here and there, and there are times when I'll move out and spend some time away from home, but it's still my home...I just can't break away...I'm comfortable with that as long as I'm not a bum or anything like that...

You are never too old to live with your parents. I am 24 and still living with them. If I am going to be living at home at age 27, I wouldn't mind. I am not planning to leave home unless I get married or if my parents kick me out.

Personally i guess it all depends on what is going on in your life and the circumstances that you are there under. If u have a good relationship with your parents and are helping them out or are in school then i dont see why not. I mean i cannot live with my parents but we never had the best of relationships but if u are happy there and there is no hassle to your parents then i dont see why it is a problem.

Have you lived with them the whole 27 years? If you have just moved back in there is nothing wrong with it. I moved in with my mom a year ago, and my fiance has lived with his parents for several years. We are getting our own place next month.

Considering how hard it is to afford to live on your own nowadays.... no, it is not too old. As long as you are earning a wage and are contributing to the running of the household then what is the problem?

Yes, if there's not a good reason for it. It's time to be responsible for yourself and give your parents some time to enjoy themselves without having a kid, (not grown if you don't act it), around.
