I have an xbox v1.1 and when i turn it on a screen saying you need call consumer service. So i called and they told me it cost 50$ to fix my MS dashboard. If anyone knows how to get a Ms dashboard and put it on xbox please help me. or if there is any other way to fix it. All i can do is run my games and i cant go online with them. Error 21 means the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag. I would be happy to work this out over email mines h5c4k1r@yahoo.com. Oh yeah its not illegal to repair it yourself not does it take a great deal of knowledge to fix it.

Can you not take it to a circuit city or something to see if they can repair it?

doooode. sorry but I am rather sure that doing it yourself requires astronomical knowledge of parts and wires, and in some areas it is illegal.
