Even in a relationship there should be boundaries. But in order to keep him happy, I'd try a little cleverness. Leave the hotmail account the way it is, but open up another one and start using that one. That way you can hide what you want to hide by corresponding through your new account, and let him have access to your old hotmail. He'll be pleased you didn't change it, and you'll still get to keep your privacy.

I'd advise you to change your password anyway. But if you really don't want to, remember that passwords are case sensitive. Just change the password to the same password but make some of the letter uppercase and some lowercase. So if your original password was 'password' change it to 'PaSsWoRd'. If he insists on asking which ones are upper and lower, just tell him you're not going to tell him and make him work it out on his own. He'll probably give up, get over it and you can change your password at some later time.

If you love him you wouldn't be hiding anything from him, so him having your password shouldn't matter. *If* you are doing something you need to hide from him then change your password and if he gets mad oh well, you aren't really into him that much anyway

Just tell him the new password. If he ask why, just say you had forgetten the password and you needed to have the password reset.

Change the damn password. He has no business going through your email. If he gets pissed that's his problem!
