I think that I and everyone else uses LOL and ROFL too much. The next one would be BRB. My third one would be BTW. However, I do not like using them so much as I like to write things out!

It depends on who I am talking to. If it's a realative, probably nothing, because they might not understand it. Firiends however, the overused phrases are: lol, g2g or gtg, brb, jk & u. I hope you know what those mean! JK, I mean I no u no wut I mean! See, that's how I talk on im.
