an unborn baby is not a tumor to be removed, any scientist can tell that it is a separate human person (by genetic definition) from the mother. It has done nothing wrong (although it may be conceived by wrong or immoral actions)
Acriminal chose to commit crime that carried a penalty of death! How can one think killing an innocent for convenience sake is better than killing a murderer who chose, by his/her actions, the death penalty?

the death penalty does not degrade me!
and yes a woman has the right to do with HER body as she chooses. The baby is not HER body, it is a separate human being in her but not her.
and unless she is raped (and studies suggest that less than 1/10 of 1% of abortions are from rape, so it is not even an issue, even those pro abortion people like to wave that banner high and often) she is pregnant BECAUSE she did with her body as she chose!

The very fraction of a second that a sperm enters an egg - the exact moment of conception - at this point, do you believe that it is "human"?
If so, then why aren't all the other cells in my body undergoing division considered human?
The point is, sure, at some point that clot of cells evolved into a baby. But at what point? Can you pinpoint that exact moment? No - it's impossible.
When those cells develope into a thinking, conscious human being happens much much later than conception - abortion is sometimes not an ideal choice, but it a risk one takes at a time (first trimester) that those cells have not developed into a "human" just yet, and that sometimes, difficult as it may be, a non-life is sometimes better than a life in which a to-be baby cannot be properly taken care of, with the financial and emotional investment it takes to be a parent.
FYI - my sister just had a baby two weeks ago, and we are all in love with my new nephew. But, she and I, and everyone else in our family are heavily, heavily pro-choice.
The point is, if this is "murder" - then take it up with your creator when you die. Let every person face their own fate, each women have a choice based on the variety of circumstances, and not have the laws intervene.

When I was younger I was against abortion and the death penalty.
Now, after being a child abuse advocate, I'm not sure forcing people to have children they don't want is the answer. Mandatory sterilization would violate civil rights, but the answer is not making abortion illegal. That will just lead to more deaths as girls try to abort for themselves.
As an ex-offender liaison, I have also changed my stance on the death penalty. I don't believe sexual predators should ever have the opportunity to leave prison.
I think it's easy to judge how other people live. It is much harder to see it first hand and come up with solutions to address the problems that lead to unwanted pregnances and criminal behavior. Until society stops ignoring those risk factors, the problem will continue to grow.

Abortion comes down to a woman's right to choose what happens to her body, period. And what would the world do with MORE unwanted children??
The death penalty has not been working to deter crime, that's been statistically proven. And have you seen statistics on innocent people who are executed? It's pretty scary. Both are complex issues, but I tend to side with the better quality of life for us all.

Killing an innocent child is a sin. If our justice system has agreed on a death sentence for someone guilty it is not a sin.
Hebrews 13:17 "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you." niv

I dont believe in the death penalty, nor do I believe in abortion. I do not think we as humans have the right to take any life.
i cant stand the whole "its my body and I can do what i want", why not take precautions not to get pregnant in the first place?

I know thats really messed up. Just like pro abortionists say that the child is not yet human but only a fetus, yet when a pregnant woman is killed it's concidered double homicide. Totally screwed up isn't it.

As for criminals? What if you are driving down the road and the sun is in your eyes, you are having a hard time driving...and all of a sudden WHAM! you hit someone and you are charged with manslaughter...etc....DO YOU WANT TO DIE FOR THAT? a mistake. jeesh. lighten up dear, stupid people abort all the time. stupid people commit crime. JUST AS smart people abort and smart people commit crime. learn to live with it.

I completely agree, abortion should only be used in an extreme case (such as the mother is dying).
And I think every state should have an express line to the electric chair!

Totally agree with you. The world is getting more wicked by the minute. Families are what hold good communities together and Satan is doing his best to tare them apart. We are in the end time and it will only get worse.
