That being said, I would posit a few other things - like, either (a) she's married and so she's safe; or (b) she's married and looking for a younger lover so she's not safe --- either way, I'd ask him if her husband knows they talk on the phone all the time. Bet he won't answer that one. This could be an emotional affair (which can escalate into more) or it could be completely innocent. But if her hubby doesn't know - it isn't.
