My mother does'nt want the carpet as she bought it underduress in Turkey.she paid a small deposit and now owes £1250.What should she do?

THATS FUNNY, my dog keeps laying deposits on our carpet.!
i dont want it either, would your Mother like to have it?

They will probably not refund the deposit. She may just have to cut her losses. It is according to how much she paid and any paperwork to determine if she has a "small claims court case." If they are in Turkey, she probably needs to just chalk it up to a bad experience and be more careful in the future making an impulse purchase.

so long as she didn't sign a legally binding contract which i don't think she will have, just be prepared to loose the deposit and if they try to push for the rest of the cash tell them you'll see them in court don't think you will hear anymore from them.

First, try to contact the seller. If it was by credit card, call the credit card company and tell them what's going on. If it was by check, call the bank and put a stop payment on it.

just cancel it but you loose your desposit,but there will not be any hard feeling they are ok about things like that there.
