Does anyone know where I could find a copy of a video from the TV series "The Lieutenant"? It starred Rip Torn & Gary Lockwood. It was called "The Proud and the angry". It was made in 1963 at MCRD San Diego, CA in 1963.

It does not appear to be released on any format. I tried roddenberry.com and the site is under construction right now. The program was owned by ABC back in the sixties, however, it may be owned by Gene's family now. I would check roddenberry.com occasionally to see when the site opens up again and then email them about it. Otherwise, all you can do is try to email ABC to suggest that the show be released on DVD.

You might attempt finding a local movie store, not block buster or one of the big chains. and asking them to look into it
Or contact MCRD direct and see if you can get it

I couldn't find it anywhere, but there are discussion boards on TV.com. They might be better able to help you find the video. (See link below)

It may not have been issued on video. I assume you've checked on Amazon and didn't find it there. Have you tried this site?
