destin w/ all large condos is too crowded & expensive these days so i'm looking for a 'NUGGET' w/ white sands like destin was when it was a quiet fishing village.

I'm quite partial to Navarre, nestled in between Pensacola Beach and Ft. Walton/Destin. It's been a few years since I visited, but that was always my favorite spot for a beautiful and quiet beach in the summertime.

No. I lived just outside of Ft Pierce and it was a crowded fishing village. Not a nice place to live at all. Traffic in that area and housing developments jumping up all over the place.

Traffic is terrible everywhere. Even South Padre Island TExas is horrible now. With our population increasing, nice beach areas are disappearing.

Seaside or Seagrove is the closet i can think of but you are looking for something that just no longer exists im afraid we used to drive for miles looking at the beaches and now you have to drive for miles to get a glimpse....so very very heartbreaking....
