And no, its not about the whole gay thing, don't even start. I thought it was just an all around bad and boring movie. I felt like I was dying a little inside and just wanted it to be over, it was so stupid.

The Hollywood community does that every once in a while. They pick some crappy movie and tell us we should love it. Then everyone goes around saying how great it is because they do not want to appear unenlightened or unintellectual. This one is even worse because if you do not like you are automatically homophobic.
Does anyone remember Sideways or Shakespeare In Love? I watched those movies dumbfounded that they were considered great, they weren't even good. Brokeback falls into that category. If it were not about the politically correct subject of Gay Love, this movie would have been considered an average romantic movie, at best.

I thought it was great, especially the ending. Someone doesn't have to be gay to feel the emotion of Heath Ledger's character at the end when he's holding the shirt. You must not have a heart, if that didn't affect you in some way. Plus the music and scenery were great.

It was a pretty lame deal. The Ennis dude couldn't talk loud enough so you missed half the crap he said and the story sucked. It didn't flow and they skipped through time like it was a hopscotch game, not to mention the one scene where Jack is standing there sleeping on his feet and Ennis hugs him from behind..there's no cohesion there so I guess Jack was day dreaming. About the only good thing was when Alma was putting it together to Ennis in the kitchen and she goes.."Jack Twist.....more like Jack Nasty!" The way she looked when she said it, I bout died laughing....I'm still laughing! Somethin bout that is so funny to me.

it was like bridges of madison county with 2 gay cowboys. I am open minded, it was still boring. snooze. The hours was worse. Some of the most acclaimed movies stink to high heaven.

Man I am glad someone said this!! I didnt like it. And its not about the gay thing eaither. I thought it was boring and dull. Now I guess they are good actors if they was able to do that and their not gay. I didnt like it at all.

It was an awesome movie. It was a great and sad story. I loved it and so does my fiance. He is such a manly man too.
You just don't appreciate good film. Plus I think that you are not comfortable with your sexuality.
