Yes you can but there are somethings you need to be aware of...you need to read any small disclaimers on the commercals and listen to the wording becaseu some false claims can really turn out not to be false by the wording they use...just misleading to the public who views it only in passing and dosen't take in all the information like the small print...so I'd get a consult and make sure you had a case before you did anything

Blatent false advertising that causes a real misrepresentation of the product or harms someone, yes. Otherwise most commercials take great liberties with the truth and that is just expected. You would be hard-pressed to sue and win on that account.

Yes. Recently someone sued a local car dealer for false or misrepresented advertising and they won.

Why would you want to? Just don't buy from the company. Stupid sue-happy people.

YES! If you are a liberal who gets off on "sticking it to businesses" then by all means! Be sure to lie and say how it ruined your life and caused your children trauma and etc. Enjoy your illgotten money!

you sue anyone for anything, its just whether you will win or not, but if its not possible to win, i doubt a lawyer would even take on the case

It depends on what the contract says whether it would be worth it. You need to have proof of loss to you.

If you can prove that the ad is false, sure. But, can you afford to?
