I can assure you that this is absolutely not biologically possible. Members of different species cannot reproduce and produce viable offpsring together, according to the classical definition of a species.

Human and animal dna are incompatible with each other to make babies. Besides, the article says:

"The human-like sow and her offspring are a sculpture...:"

So there you go. But it does look creepy though. Hey, this looks like a creature I saw in the Disney film Fantasia. It's during the last scene (second to last?) where a scene from Hell is depicted. Some of the creatures dancing around look like a cross between dogs and pigs. The song during that scene is called Night on Bald Mountain by Peter Tchaikovsky. It's just before the Ave Maria scene.

Why don't you read the webpage that you included? It states right there that it is real. It is called a sculpture, a form of art. It is a creation of the human imagination, not documentation of an event.

I shudder at the thought that the education system is so abysmal.

Creepy realistic sculpture.

There are no living animal species that humans can hybridize with, that requires a very close genetic kinship.

It's rare for animal hybrids to be capable of breeding, the sculpture implies two generations of hybrids, as if the ham-mama is the porcine Eve of a new species.

Even if your link didnt say it was a sculpture, as a biochemist with a specialty in genetics, this is impossible the dna between human and pig is too different for an impregnation to happen!

You have nothing to worry about!

Breeding between species is impossible. The way we differentiate species in the animal kingdom is if they can breed or not, thus giving the species portion of the animal name. (i.e.Homo sapiens, for humans) So it would be impossible for the Genus Sus (swine) and the Genus Homo (man) to mate.

It's impossible to have a human/pig hybrid right now. The pic was probably Photoshopped.

If you read the whole page you know it's just a sculpture..... nothing like that really exists.

It is possible, but it is HIGHLY improbable. It is obviously a make up image, don't worry, but truth being said, they just look like something that can happen, don't worry, reality is weirder than myth.
