If you:
A> Knew for sure what a guy looked like and that you were attracted to him.
B> Enjoyed talking to him over the phone and internet
C> Knew that he would be willing to fly out to visit you a couple of times a year.
If all of those were the case, would you consider a long distance relationship with him? Not that I am in this situation, but I would be willing to if I met the right girl (even on-line)

Getting to close to someone who lives so far may be even harder than knowing you can be with them at all. But if you are the sort of person who thinks they can cope with only seeing their partner a few times a year and can feel happy just from speaking to them as what you are feeling is real then you might as well go for it. Just remember that you should know them well enough to trust them,that is very important in that kind of relationship.

No. Long distance relationships never work out. If this guy is willing to come see you, why not go see him - maybe he's married. People can hide alot of things if they want to.

No, because i belive that distance does make a difference, i mean why try dating someone so far away and you can bearly see them. Friends, yeah. Dating , no. I mean wouldn't you want to know how they are like in person in like everyday situations, it's to easy to get your hopes up and you wouldn't really ever know the truth. Good luck, date some one in your area. :-)

I would consider a long distance relationship, but could not guarantee that it would be one of monogomy.
