As much as I don't like it, I think it is totally possible that J.K. Rowling might kill off Harry. If you remember the article, she said that there is a good side to killing off your main character. When she is dead and gone, no one will be able to come back and write Harry because he already died; it would be satisfactory to know that no one will come back and take over you masterpiece.

Here is a list of people besides Harry that I think might perish.

Ron: Besides being Harry's best mate, we haven't really seen him prove himself in times of danger and battle. He showed his strengths back in Book 1 when during the giant chess match during the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone. There is a theory that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry in the final match against Voldemort.

Pettigrew: Do I have to explain it? Let's see... He betrayed the Potters, he helped Voldemort get his body back, and is an all-around bad guy. I think it's time to go, and that the life-debt that he has to Harry will be involved somehow.

Draco: I think that apart from being "bad", Draco is really a tragic character. His family are Death Eaters. He's got a lot to live up to. I got the kind of feeling that he was forced in the Book 6 to serve Voldemort. All the stress he underwent, the frustration, the anxiety... I mean, the poor boy was misguided. Remember that he is only about 17. People can make horrible mistakes when they are at that age. Unfortunately in Draco's case, it might cost him his life. He's in too deep.

Professor Trelawney: I think there is a possibility of her death in Book 7. She's always predicting how people will die, and seeing strange, dark omens everywhere. I think that is a kind of subtle foreshadowing. She sees death everywhere, why can't it be hers? I just wonder how this would play out, and how important it would be to the actual plot.

Percy: Hmm... Anyone sure which side he is really on?

Who will get a reprieve? I have an inkling that it is one of the Dursleys.... or Snape.

Harry Potter and Voldemort will die in the highly anticipated last book of the series. Voldemort, of course, being the evil presence in the story. Harry, Ron & Hermione will retrieve the 6 horcruxes and Harry, being the 7th, will also need to be sacrificied in order to finally defeat Voldemort. To turn the tables a bit....Neville, the other boy born to 2 aurors in the same year, will be the one to do it. Neville will find the strength to be the wizard that Voldemort never thought he would be, which is why he assumed Harry Potter was the chosen one. I hope it doesn't end this way...but it doesn't look good for Harry at this point.

Welll, i have a feeling it is going to be mrs weasley, now i havent put much thoguth into it but notic ehere every one who has loved harry(like relaly loved acept them as family almost) has died
dad
mom
dumbledore
siruis
all one by one,
and mrs weasley always is loving harry feeding him, getting him places almost liek a mom. I THINK dumbledore IS NOT DEAD BUT i do belive he will die in the begining or middle of the 7th book,im 50/50.
as for ron and hermoine i belive they will live.As for harry ,i have a feeling AND voldemort will both die, I THINk, because when u think about it, ROWLING is ending the series when the studdents are still teeanagers, children forsay, WHY would rowling stop, but then i KNOW rowling in an interview she said that their will be an epilogue ( a chapter saying what the students do with their lives) so i guess harry could live, but i have a feeling that he will die with voldemort, or wormtail will save hime because if u remmeeber in the 3rd book the prisoner of askaban that he saved wormtails live(harry did on accident of course by letting him go cuz he was a mouse ) and dumbldore said that worms tail must do something in return, because saving a life etc.(* i dont really remmeber)but if i had 2 say 2 people

harry, AND voldemort
u might think whats the point of reading them then?, but wouldnt that be a great ending and great ending .2 of the most powerfulest wizards both dying one for good and one for evil i think it would be a sad, but cool ending.

For anyone who read the article about the two characters dying, it also said that JK Rowling now understands the urge of authors to kill of their main characters in the final books so as to reduce the chances of anyone resuming the storyline after the author's death....therefore, the character could be Harry himself, the second one would by either Voldermort or someone totally unexpected like Mrs. Weasley or one of the twins, or someone.

I think that the two characters that will be axed in the last book are Snape and Harry. Harry of course being killed in some heroic battle with he who must not be named (cay I can't spell his name) and I think somehow Snape will be killed trying to save harry. I think Snape and professor dumbledore had chatted about what needed to be done if the time ever came, and that is why Snape killed him in the last book, for the good of the cause. If that wasn't the case, then Fry Snape!

Harry Potter and Voldemort

Voldemort, most definitely and probably Harry. This way with the title character and the chief rival gone, no other authors can profit from the "Potter" empire.

I think Dumbledore's gonna come back to life then die again. No just kidding...realistically it'll probably be Harry and Voldemort...unless Rowling decides to put in some unexpected twist...

I'd like to know where you got your information, because I haven't heard it, and it is not on Mugglenet.

I think more than two characters will die.

ETA: While on Yahoo Answers earlier today this info was released. I am sorry for coming down so hard on the asker. They were right and I was wrong.

To answer the question I think either Ron or Nevile and Voldie
