This website says that they are false, but I don't know. I live on a forest preserve and I think I have seen one in my backyard. What should I do to make it go away?

Chupacabras translated is "goat sucker" So get rid of any goats if you have any.....That's the first thing I`d do,call me crazy but I`d have a hard fast rule..... "NO GOATS ALLOWED" Signs put up everywhere.

Its about as real as Big Foot and santa Claus. Seriously though this is an old urban myth thats been making the rounds and finding new life for a long time.

Not according to National Geographic, they had a show on it recently, just a myth. (Channel 70 on time-warner cable)
