I have the movie on vhs, the part when they r in the malt shop and Sandy is on a date with the jock , she goes to play a song on the jukebox, the signs on the walls behind them are all blurred out. WHY? (i think they are coke cola sign's, but not sure)

You'r Right! It is a Cola sign. The Reason it was blurry was intentional. They did not get permission from cola to show their sign, And they couldn't just show it because of a copy Right!

When producing a movie you have to get the rights from the company to have it in the movie. So if the producers failed to get permission from Coca cola company they can't have it in the movie.

maybe they didn't get permission from the manufacturer to show the signs. They usually need to get licencing permission to use product names. Often the companies don't complain about free product placement, but sometimes they do!
