I read a rumour that Avery is trying to get Mike James from Toronto in return for a package that involves Marquis Daniels. What do you guys think of this...

In general I'd take Daniels over James any day but for Dallas' situation that would be a good trade as long as they don't overbid for James.

Well, Mike James is 30+ years old but he still can play. He had a monster year in Toronto last year averaging career highs in points and assists. Marquis Daniels, on the other hand, went through an injury-ridden year. He's a young guy but after the breakout season that Josh Howard had, I don't see Daniels playing major minutes with Dallas anymore. He's a bench player now and I don't think he'll be a scorer. He can give you 10-12 points ppg but if I were Toronto, I wouldn't trade a guy like Mike James. Mike James can score and make plays. He's a winner.
