As a stand-alone movie it's great. The action is awesome and special FX are better than the first two. When put into the trilogy though, it stands out like a sore thumb. The first one was a great surprise, the second is my favorite comic adaptation, the third one is just for the money. I wish Brett Ratner would go back to making music videos.

The best part of the entire story line was the very end where Magneto moved the metal chess piece implying that the "cure" wasn't permanent.
Rogue was the ultimate temptress of look but don't you dare touch. They took that away from her. It stunk. She was my favorite character. Bobby wasn't worth losing her powers for. Besides the movie did introduce the perfect guy for Rogue. The kid that they got the cure from. Rogue could touch him. He was a little young but he would grow up.
I want to know why Rogue never gained the ability to fly.

i think the recent marvel comics craze is fantastic. i am not one of those fanatics but i liked them as a kid and seeing how difficult it must have been to make one film out of a comic book, let alone 3, i think they did a good job. that scene with the golden gate bridge. immense. if it just suck tothe storylines inthe comics it would have been too predictable. the ending with magneto at the chess board? nice touch in ma view.

I didn't like it. I hated how none of the new mutants had any story behind them. You knew about Angel for like 1 minute in the beginning, other than that no character development besides Jean Grey. I think they just tried to do too much at one time.

Yo, right here. They ran out of dope mutant powers about 5 min. into the movie, too, cuz those fools Wolverine took out in the woods were weak-- just like the rest of the rag-tag army.
Formulaic Hollywood blockbuster-- total $h!t.

i individually merely watched it for the 1st time this night, and likely, you're actual. Halle Berry gets constantly warmer in all 3 video clips. Now, as for the action picture itself, i assumed it became super! i could not have confidence the ending! They actual did not circulate away it open for a 4th action picture...

I loved this movie. People who seem to dislike it, is either because they hate the director that replaced Bryan singer...or they just hate X-men.
It was a great action-packed...emotional movie.

Rogue didn't possess the ability to fly on her own. It was one of the abilities she stole from Ms. Marvel
