If you believe in "God" or in the Divine, don't you believe He/She created the universe, INCLUDING the stars, planets and constellations? Why, then, is it considered evil or BS to believe that God had a plan/system when He/She put things where they are. So, if "God" created everything, then that includes the constellations, planets, stars, etc. that form the basis of astrology. How do you know he didn't have a pattern with significance?

OK, but the fact that we are LIVING on Earth is significant. So what if they look different from other places, we live on earth & that's how they appear to us!

And, how do you know Paganism isn't the most accurate. It survived from ancient times until today? Makes sense, it's "philosophy" can be seen in nature. BTW- other world religions do believe in astrology, like Hinduism, for example.

Come on, where are all those people who answer questions in the horoscope section with replies like "it's evil....."? What do you have to say to this?

Well, moonfire, I think i've answered one of ur question earlier. And dont ask such questions over here, because some idiots who had never experienced the power of astrology, would just not believe in either god or astrology. See dear, our ancestors were not idiots that they created astrology just for anything. its us people who dont believe in astrology are idiots. People dont believe in astrology becasue they dont have that kind of knowledge about astroloogy or they are just cant handle the deep knowledge of astrology. because it takes many many years just to learns 10 percent of total astrology (here im talking about indian vedic astrology). and i would like to conclude with one scientific example :

There are 7 colour and IR and UV rays in sun light when passed via a prism and there are 7 planets and 2 invisible planets (RAHU AND KETU). here IR and UV are invisible. did you get my point ????? This is astrology and its science.

I have a question if the moon can control the tides in the ocean what makes you think it doesnt have influence on people who are almost 80% water?

In regards to religion if you study the history of christianity you will see why it says dont consort with soothsayers astrologers etc. Because these were considered pagan which were apart of the matriarchial society when the patriarchial order came into existence anything associated with it was shunned called devilment. Witchcraft is craft of the wise. The same ones that tell you not to use these things use it themselves and that is how they can maintain control over their circumstances. Its not for everybody but those that know how to use it to their advantage. So be it.

The bible also condoned slavery is that practice still condoned these days why not because people realized you can't believe everything you read its all open to interpretation of time and circumstances. The bible also says you must make burnt animal sacrifices are we to subscribe to that as well.

The other thing that kills me the most is how those that read the King James Version and follow it like the letter of the law when it clearly states king james version i thought the bible was supposed to be "God's" truth.

The constellations are only constellations that look that way from our point of view on Earth. if you were somewhere else in the Galaxy, they would look differently. Also astrology is not based on any religion that is monotheistic (one true God). It comes from a superstitious time when people believed in gods and goddesses. There is absolutely no proof whatsoever that astrology is in any way valid. Yes God did create all of the starts and planets and galaxies, but man created trying to interpret the pagan so called pictures and so called patterns in the night sky.

First, there is to my knowledge of the Bible no "she" reference to God. He is God our Father, which should denote to you the reference of He. And you are right, God did create the heavens and the earth. There is much to learn about the stars and their positions in the solar system. The problem, as I see it, is how people make their astrological sign and "forecast" their guidepost for life. This takes away from God and what his Son Jesus did on the cross for us all. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Looking to Him as your guidepost for living is what God intended when He created the world. When you make the stars and their positions a god (by following what someone who writes a newspaper bit about what you should do today according to your sign) you break the first Commandment (Thou shall have no other gods before Me.)

Yes God did create the universe and all that is in it but He also says not to try and intrepret the " signs ". The bible talks against witchcraft, idolotry, soothsaying, astrology and a number of others things. Not because they are " evil " persay but becasue they take your focus off the one true GOD. That is what makes it a sin.
Anything that takes our focus off the one true GOD can become a sin.

I look at it this way- if something takes my eyes off God then it causes me to have my back to Him. If my back is turned towards GOD then how can He direct me down the path He has envisioned for my life. I have tried things my own way and they always end in a mess but when I pray and truly seek GOD's will for my life He directs me down a path that always brings me to what I really needed.
Hope this helps you understand that we as Christians don't hate astrology we just choose to follow the path of our GOD, which leads us toward Him.

ok well all the spiritual knowledge is shown above. now think logically, if u look at a horoscope u can see that the messages it gives you are very vague and theres little chance those things WONT happen. then sometimes they still dont. i dont think astrology is evil but dont rely on them.
