Some ppl do sell breast milk. For adopted children and children in the system. But think about it. Lets say you were a woman. Would you like to go ito a career where you're milked? No. People don't breastfeed their children anywhere past the age of 5 or so. It's just not something we've ever done. What's next? People cheese and People yogurt?

We did it because as a primitive poor civilization it was a way to get protein. We're now smart & successful enough to get more than enough nutrtion from other souces. We just drink milk out of tradition.

There is also a strong milk lobbyist group in Washington that keeps paying for pro-milk ads, studies promoting milk, subsidies to dairy farmers, and pushes milk in schools.

The bottom line is that we don't need it. A good % of people are lactose intolerant anyway, and we're inadvertently giving some kids bellyaches and not knowing why.

Not necessarily, if another animal raises a different species then they will drink of the maternal species' milk. Humans are just the only species who intentionally go out in search of another animals milk, funny thing is humans are not supposed to drink other animals milk it may have nutrients but hey they are meant for a different metabolism, stomach, creature so unless you are a cow drink soy.

Because we're the only ones smart enough to milk other creatures.

Sheesh.
