You copy and paste (meaning right click and highlight all in blue) then compose, right click and paste, then add your name. However, 99% of email petitions are hoaxes, check the validity through http://www.synopes.com, about internet email hoax, just type in the main theme ie. banning public prayer in schools,etc.

Do whatever you want, but online, & especially email, petitions are invalid legally & many times abused by the creators or others to get people's information.

When you get the e-mail, hit the reply button instead of the forward and then put your name on the bottom. Go into the top line "To", and change the names to whom ever you want to send it to.

Copy the whole text and paste it in the new message. Add your name to the list, then send it to someone else, or the person that sent it to you.

Click Forward the add your name to the bottom. Click send and off you go.
