Americans are so patriotic. Every car pretty much says "God Bless America". They are so full of themselves.

Think about it this way...
Why is it that more people try to get into America than any other country? That should give you an indication on what the rest of the world REALLY thinks about life in America.
Considering how good it really is here I think we have a right to be proud of our country.
Besides, I have never heard anyone rip other countires for being jingoistic or proud of THEIR country. Why should we?

That question implies the asker is rather full of herself. Can a nation be full of itself? Or did you mean, "Why are Americans so full of themselves?" In which case, have you met all the millions of varying Americans there are? Take England. A tiny nation. Even 100 miles distance changes the cultural and social aspects of the locals. Now imagine that in the size of somewhere as large as the USA. You are a rather presumptious, self righteous, ignorant, uninformed, pseudo-politically aware creature, aren't you? You discount so easily people like the most respected politician there, Senator John McCain, everyone involved with the ACLU, etc. Every car says (since when do cars speak?) "God Bless America"? Really? You must have been ALL over the US, every corner. I have a sneaking suspicion your travels were limited to a very small area, indeed.

Supporting yourself is not being full of yourself...they are two very different things...
Just because you support the place you live dose not make you concieted in any way...
not all cars have god bless america stickers and if they did who cares it's more of a symbolism of pride for those who display it then a concieted display...
the great thing about america is that people can express their feelings just like you are now...
so in reality do you really have a problem with freedom of speech or the fact that americans are comfortable enough to express there veiws especially when the US is a country constantly taking heat from the international press for the percieved sterotypes blasted into international homes each day...
the us isn't just what you see and hear on tv...just like all of the other countries in the world...they each have there good and bad.

This makes them feel good as we blow up Iraq ! What they should also say is God bless Iraq too! I like how they say this and then leave the American Flag out at night and in the rain . Real patriotic as they fun into your car at Walmart and leave.I love America but I don't state we are better than any other country. It's what people are taught and other countries don't have the opportunities as we did and do.

We are so patriotic because though we help so many countries in the world, we are often attacked verbally or physically. Everyone hates the US until you need us. We are united and strong and free and that causes jealousy for some reason. Instead of trying to obtain that for yourselves, you just bash us. The real cement that bonded us in recent history was 09/11/2001. God bless the USA!!!!

Because its a country with no culture or history, just a bunch of filthy europeans who moved there and exploited the condinent and killed the natives. Being blind patriots is the only way to consider their place a country.

Being patriotic isn't being full of one's self. I actually think it's pretty cool to see all those bumper stickers and little flags. What with the rest of the world constantly talking trash about us, to me, those stickers are a sign of defiance and strength - as one.

American goes to 2 Wars and no others country help.911 already taught America about her future.People have to support troop and we all become patriotic.In your question you say They are so full of themselves.I think it is about time we have to act out in order to change this world.
