I think the same.
I'm from Argentina and I was disgusted by that call from the referee.
Italians are all mobsters, so it won't be the first time or the last one.

I think that was clutch!! any expirienced player wouldve gone for the easy penalty.. you want to rip on someone.. rip on the aussie defender that made it easy..
and if you are going to complain, Italy shouldve been playin with 11 not 10.. that automatic red card was bull.. he wasnt the last man, and the defender was attempting to go for the ball.. just a late tackle, thats a yellow!
Refs havent been that good.. and thats why I say, have a backup ref watching the TV transmission and talk to the main ref on the field, this would save so much trouble and bad calls

I am not an italian but i think that was a correct decision by the referee since the italian player was tackled in front of australia's net. he could have easily scored if he wasnt stopped there.

cheating italian @$$hole >:[ FIFA should be sewed for that. this is the 2nd time they do it with us. first time the stupid japanese player that hit the goalkeeper and they still counted the goal, and the 2nd time is today
