I found a pacifier like thing that holds fruit but has small holes so big pieces cannot get through. My daughter loves to chew on the fruit. I buy frozen fruit to put in it and it helps to numb her gums. Here is a link to what the product looks like.

Both of my boys liked rubber teething toys, water filled teething rings cold from the fridge (NOT frozen solid, as so many people seem to do. This can be harmful for the baby's tender, swollen gums. Manufacturers put a disclaimer on the package...Do Not Put In Freezer.), their hands, my fingers (yes, washed and clean, just like yours :), zwieback, biter biscuits...and anything else they could get their little hands on!! :)

My son will literally chew anything he can get in his mouth (ie.the cats tail, my cheek, my hair, his toes) so we have to really watch him. I fill his sippy cup with real cold water and he chews on the spout part. Seems to like it. I try those teething rings that go in the fridge but they don't stay cold very long. And, I agree, don't put them in the freezer! That is too cold. The washcloth thing works sometimes but mostly he just likes to gnaw away on his toys!

My son likes teething rings. I put it in the fridge for awhile but if I put it in the freezer its way too cold for him to hold and it may hurt his teeth (if he already has some) if its gets hard in the freezer, so be careful with that. Also I had received toys from family that were learning toys and had teething things on it for him to chew on and enjoy playing with them at the same time. There are teething books as well. They are soft and have like a crinkly sound when mess with them.

cold teething rings and a frozen wash cloth - I have also heard that frozen banana works for some kids. Good luck!

teething rings from the fridge. Those plastic beaded oval toys. Her favorite is those little textured rings that you can loop a bunch together & she just loves that! Also a fabric book that has teether corners. Just about anything she can get her hands on! :O)

depending on how old your child is but if she can chew and eat i would suggest fruit. for my son we froze some pieces of watermelon and feed him tiny pieces so he doesn't choke but the cold of the fruit really helps him. after he's done not only does he feel better but he also got a healthy snack.
